About Jack Adler Photography
My Journey
How It All Started
I was first exposed to photography by my father, Andrew. His Nikon was a constant throughout my childhood.
My love for the environment started young as well. While other kids watched SpongeBob, I watched Planet Earth (thanks Mom).
Now, as an educator, I look to inspire the next generation through my work.
"If children don't grow up knowing about nature and appreciating it, they will not understand it, and if they don't understand it, they won't protect it. And if they don't protect it, who will?" - David Attenborough
My Style & Philosophy
My photography style focuses on letting the subject speak for itself.
In my work you'll see vibrant colors, creative composition, and some of the world's most amazing sights.
Minimal. Emotional. Real.
About The Photographer
I grew up in New Orleans and have roots in south Louisiana that go back generations.
As a kid, my love for the environment was fostered by at-home education, and my time at summer camp in the Smoky Mountains of north Georgia.
These experiences shaped me into someone with a deep passion for wildlife all over the world and the ecosystems they call home.
Now, as an educator, I aim to transfer this passion to the next generation.
I have been working with kids for almost a decade, being a classroom teacher for about half of that time.
Outside of the classroom, I work as a varsity coach, and run the Young Ecologists NOLA program.
I have a dog and two cats at home, as well as a younger sister who lives in London.
